I'm Gabe Freedman, a creative force in the realm of video editing and production, with a passion for crafting captivating branded content for both on-air and digital platforms. With a track record marked by prestigious accolades including Clio and Promax awards, I've honed my skills to transform concepts into compelling visual narratives that leave a lasting impact.
My journey began in the sun-soaked landscapes of Southern California, where my fascination with the art of filmmaking was ignited at the tender age of 13. From those early days behind the lens, I've embarked on an exhilarating odyssey that has brought me to where I am today.
Educated at Emerson College, I immersed myself in the world of film, earning a Bachelor's degree that would serve as the foundation for my illustrious career. During my time at Emerson, my dedication to excellence led me to stand out in the prestigious Campus Movie Festival, securing an award that recognized my creative prowess. I also had the privilege of contributing my skills as an assistant editor on The Henry Rollins Show, a testament to my commitment to every facet of the production process.
Over my five-year professional journey, I've had the privilege of capturing the essence of remarkable individuals through my lens. From intimate interviews with icons such as Lady Gaga, Diddy, and Ghostface Killah to collaborating with artists like Robyn, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, and Ludacris, I've harnessed the power of storytelling to immortalize their narratives.
My expertise extends beyond the edit suite; I thrive in both pre and post-production, seamlessly blending roles as a producer, director, and sound designer. This comprehensive approach ensures a harmonious fusion of all elements, resulting in a final product that resonates deeply with audiences.
